Scooby-Doo! Where are you? A torrent site has tracked down the ghosts of all your childhoods with one file. Scooby-Do Ghoul School is a torrent that features uncensored episodes of the original cartoon series Scooby Doo, Where Are You? on DVD. The show originally aired from 1969 to 1970 and was well loved for its catchy theme song, Scooby's diversity as a great big adorable dog, and his posse of silly young friends that would always willingly follow him into dangerous situations. This release, however, is sure to be controversial for reasons other than just being an adult watching these cartoons... The thing is though: these episodes have been edited painstakingly by fans... and possibly by the show creators. The reason this release of Scooby-Do Ghoul School is controversial is because of an "adult" channel on YouTube. The channel, known as "A Scooby-Doo Look Alike" (a description of the channel's videos) has over one million subscribers and has uploaded several videos of edits and edits of uploads made to the video on YouTube. Although the channel was not created by the same users who made these pirated releases, several of its uploaders have admitted to using their editing skills on these releases. However, there seems to be a lot of inconsistencies when it comes down to the edits in these videos. Many of the gore effects found in the YouTube uploads were not included in the DVD release, and several of them are clearly edited out. Is this a case where a group of dedicated fans took it upon themselves to censor their beloved show for a younger audience? Or is it a case where someone thought that censoring these cartoons would be humorous for adults? Either way, there is definitely some kind of censorship going on here. It's no secret that censoring a show is not always a good thing, and the Internet serves as the perfect way for people to speak out against these kinds of things. Scooby-Doo! Where are you? is very much worth checking out if you're a fan of this show and its most bizarre run.
